The course
Next door to Royal Birkdale, Hillside is widely regarded as one of England's finest courses never to have hosted The Open. The opening holes combine classic links terrain with mature pines before the course rises into spectacular dunes, producing an exceptional back nine of secluded and dramatic holes.
