Southport & Ainsdale

The course

A classic James Braid links of dunes, heathland and gorse, S&A provides a wonderfully traditional test of coastal golf. Its exposed position ensures the wind is always part of the challenge, while its championship pedigree includes one distinction very few golf clubs anywhere can claim — hosting the Ryder Cup twice.
